Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has appointed Nigerian music icon 2Baba as his Technical Adviser on Entertainment and Community Outreach.
The appointment was made public during a meeting between the governor and the 49-year-old singer, with video clips of the moment trending online. Governor Alia praised 2Baba’s contributions to the entertainment industry and his connection to the people of Benue.

He said the singer’s influence could play a key role in youth empowerment and community development, describing him as a “guru of entertainment.”
