Rose Idibia, mother of Nigerian music star, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face, has met with her son’s new partner, Miss Natasha Osawaru, ending months of public tension.
The meeting follows a period of controversy after Mrs Idibia, in a widely circulated video, accused Miss Osawaru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, of exerting undue influence over her son through traditional adornments. She alleged the singer was no longer acting of his own volition and urged Miss Osawaru to remove ceremonial beads from his neck and wrists.

The row erupted in January when 2Face announced his separation from wife and actress Annie Idibia before unveiling Miss Osawaru as his new partner. The announcement drew strong reactions across social media and from fellow entertainers.
A new video released on Sunday appears to show a thaw in relations, capturing the couple visiting Mrs Idibia at her home.
