Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has appointed seven women and 14 men as commissioners in his cabinet.
The commissioners were confirmed by the Taraba State House of Assembly, and sworn in by the State Chief Judge, Justice Joel Filibus Agya in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital.

According to Governor Kefas, the selection was done in the spirit of inclusivity, fairness, and balance.
The Governor added that his administration recognises the importance of allowing the youths to grow – a consideration which informed the dominance of youths in his cabinet.
