The federal government says it will soon make some pronouncements on salary increases for government workers.
Chris Ngige, Minister of Labour and Employment, said this after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential villa in Abuja.
According to the minister, the presidential committee on salaries is working with the National Salaries Incomes and Wages Commission (NSIWC) on the matter.
Mr. Ngige further said the government will make some pronouncements regarding implementation in the new year.
