Humanitarian Operations Suspended As Fighting Continues In Sudan

A second day of fierce fighting in Sudan’s capital, Khartoum has left three United Nations staff and more than 50 others dead.

The pro-democracy Central Committee of Sudan Doctors reports 56 civilians killed as well as “tens of deaths” among security forces, and around 600 wounded.

This is despite an hours-long pause yesterday to address humanitarian needs including the evacuation of wounded.
