Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Republic of Sudan, Mr. Safiu Olaniyan, says the embassy was not in charge of hiring buses to convey evacuees out of Sudan.
While appealing to aggrieved persons to rethink the alleged plan to attack embassy officials, the Ambassador, in a voicenote, assured parents and students that the embassy officials were fully on ground in Khartoum, capital of Sudan, to ensure their evacuation.
Three Nigerian Air Force C-130 aircraft flew into Aswan in Egypt to airlift the first batch of Nigerian evacuees. Commercial carrier, Air Peace, is also on standby to bring our people home.
