Mrs. Roli Bode-George has become the first female to lead the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in any capacity.
She stepped in as Acting Chairperson following the retirement of Mr. Ahmadu Giade who has led the agency since 2005.
Since its establishment in 1989, the agency has been led by Fidelis Oyakhilome, Fulani Kwajafa, Ba’ppa Jama’re, Musa Bamaiyi, Ogbonnaya Onovo, Iliya Lokadang, Bello Lafiaji and Ahmadu Giade.

Mitchel Ofoyeju, spokesperson of the agency, says the outgoing chairman presented Mrs. Bode-George the flag of office as he bowed out.
Mrs Bode- George is the wife of Peoples Democratic Party Chieftain, Mr. Bode George.
