Rep Who Called Nigeria Air Process Opaque Demanded Bribe From Me: Sen Hadi Sirika

The Former Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, has accused the Chairman of the House Committee on Aviation, Honourable Nnolim Nnaji, of demanding five percent shares of the National Carrier Air from him.

During a hearing by the House of Representatives, Chairman of the House Committee on Aviation, Nnolim Nnaji, had declared the process of Nigeria Air to be highly opaque, shrouded in secrecy.

Speaking when he appeared on ARISE TV on Sunday, Senator Sirika also said the Committee hearing was a predetermined matter because after hearing the issue in question, the committee is meant to sit down to discuss the issues, raise them, approach the whole House of Representatives to get the position of the House, and return to make their findings known. The former minister said the committee immediately, in his own words, “read the riot Act”.

Honourable Nnolim Nnaji has since responded to the former minister’s claims calling him “a drowning man struggling to grab anything on his way to survive the barrage of attacks he has been receiving since his controversial unveiling ceremony of the so called Nigeria Air.”
