The United States of America says at the moment, it is not joining its European allies in evacuating its citizens from Niger Republic.
It has, however, suspended activities such as training with Niamey’s forces.

US National Security Council spokesman, John Kirby, says there are currently no signs which indicate direct threats to US citizens or facilities.
About 1,000 US troops are stationed in land-locked Niger, where they were helping the ousted president, Mohamed Bazoum, combat insurgency in the region
