The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC), has issued fresh orders to its anti-vandal squads nationwide to scale up its clamp on crude oil thieves.
NSCDC Commandant General, Ahmed Audi, gave the order at the quarterly conference and review meeting of all state commandants, in Abuja.

According to Mr Audi, the instruction is precipitated by the order of the President to all security agencies, asking them to nip the challenge of oil theft and attendant consequences in the bud.
