Nigeria’s representative to the ECOWAS parliament, Senator Emmanuel Yisa Orker-Jev, has cautioned against a military solution to the coup in the Republic of Niger.
The Senator rather advised on diplomacy to the Nigerien impasse.

He warned that if ECOWAS insists on a military solution, President Bola Tinubu, who is Chairperson of the bloc, may play into the hands of terrorist groups like Boko Haram.
