Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has won the UEFA Player of the Year award.
He was declared winner on Thursday ahead of Kevin de Bruyne, and Lionel Messi.
The award honours outstanding achievements in European football from the previous season.

Early this week, Haaland won the PFA Player of the Year after a sublime first season in England.
The Norwegian finished last season with 52 goals in 53 games as City won the treble.
