Oil Theft Probe: Reps Invite NNPCL As Security Firm Alleges Sabotage

The House of Representatives has invited the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) to appear before it to respond to allegations surrounding the security of oil pipelines in the country.

Private security firm, Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, alleges that the NNPCL hired its services to secure pipelines but has denied it access to the same pipelines.

The House Ad Hoc Committee expressed its displeasure over the NNPCL’s failure to honour its earlier invitation and gave a second chance to the management and other vital stakeholders that did not attend the opening session.
