The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has set up an ad-hoc committee to investigate alleged sales of government properties in Lagos and other states under former Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura.
Honourable Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, the Speaker of the House, announced the probe after the Majority Leader, raised the issue under a matter of public interest during plenary yesterday.

The Speaker urged the nine-member committee to immediately proceed to Lagos to begin its investigation into the alleged sale of the Nasarawa Liaison Office in the state.
He urged the committee to be thorough in unravelling the allegations against the immediate past administration.
