The leadership of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) says there are no planned meetings with the Federal Government that may lead to the suspension of its proposed indefinite strike.
Organised Labour is scheduled to commence industrial action next Tuesday and has vowed to mobilise all its affiliates and members across the country to ensure full compliance.
In a statement yesterday, the NLC Head of Information and Public Affairs, Mr. Benson Upah, said the issues on the ground are beyond the capacity of the Minister of Labour and Employment.

Mr. Upah appreciated the role of the Minister in securing the release of the executives of the National Union of Road Transport Workers from police detention.
However, he stated that the NLC takes exception to the Ministry describing the released executives as factional leaders.
