Ousted Niger Leader To File Legal Case Against Putschists

Lawyers for Niger’s ousted president, Mohamed Bazoum, say they are filing a legal case against those behind the coup that deposed the democratically elected leader.

The lawyers also made an appeal to the United Nations Human Rights Council.

One of the lawyers, Dominique Inchauspe, told AFP the case is expected to be lodged in the next few days with a court in the capital Niamey.
