Results of the 2023 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) have been released by the National Examination Council (NECO).
NECO Registrar, Prof. Dantani Wushishi, says the result summary shows that 61.6 percent of candidates scored up to five credits, including English and Mathematics.
Prof. Wushishi says of the over 1.2 million candidates who registered for the exam, around 1.19 million sat for the exercise.

The figure included 616,398 male candidates and 580,587 females.
A further breakdown of the numbers show that over 700,000 candidates had five credits and above, including English and Math while over one million candidates had five credits, irrespective of English and Mathematics.
