Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajuddeen Abbas, and the Deputy President of the Senate, Barau Jibrin, were among mourners that attended the funeral prayer and burial of the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ghali Umar Na’abba in Kano.
The former Speaker passed away around 3am yesterday morning at a hospital in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, and his corpse was flown back to Kano for burial around 2pm, where it was taken to his residence before his family for prayers and then to Kano Emir’s palace.

Late Na’abba leaves behind one wife and 10 children and has been buried at the Dandolo cemetery at Goron Dutse.
