Aiyedatiwa Makes Five Appointments As Ondo Governor

Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the newly sworn in Ondo State Governor, has announced five political appointments shortly after taking the oath of office following the death of his former boss, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.

In a statement, the State Deputy Chief of Staff, Olusegun Omojuwa, said Governor Aiyedatiwa announced a journalist, Mr Ebenezer Adeniyan, as his Chief Press Secretary, and Sunday Abire as Special Assistant on New Media.

The statement also added that the governor announced Smart Omodunbi as his Special Assistant on Political Matters; Motunrayo Oyedele as the Special Assistant to the Governor on Photography, and Temitayo Iperepolu as Special Assistant to the Governor on Domestic and Government House.

Governor Aiyedatiwa took the oath of office as the 7th governor of the state after he was sworn in by the Chief Judge of the state, Olusegun Odunsola following the demise of Akeredolu who died yesterday.
