The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has appointed new executives to oversee the affairs of Union, Keystone, and Polaris Banks.
In a statement, CBN’s Acting Director, Corporate Communications, Mrs. Hakama Sidi-Ali, said the appointments take immediate effect.
This followed the dissolution of the board and management of the banks by the apex bank over their non-compliance with the provisions of Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act, 2020.

The new executives are; Yetunde Oni as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, and Mannir Ubali Ringim as Executive Director, both for Union Bank.
Keystone Bank sees Hassan Imam appointed as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, and Chioma A. Mang as Executive Director.
Finally, Lawal Mudathir Omokayode Akintola is appointed as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Polaris Bank, while Chris Onyeka Ofikulu will serve as Executive Director.
