The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has summoned a crucial meeting with the Force Management Team and Tactical Squads to address the escalating concerns regarding insecurity across the country.
Daily Trust reports that bandits have been breaking into houses and picking up residents from the comfort of their homes.

The incidents which have created tension reached its height when some Abuja residents, including a 13-year-old Secondary School Student, were killed over failure to meet the deadline of ransom payment.
According to a statement by Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Muyiwa Adejobi, the IGP while expressing deep concern over the events, emphasised the need for decisive action.
