Avoid Conceding First Against South Africa, Dosu Warns Super Falcons

Former Nigerian international, Joseph Dosu has warned the Super Falcons to avoid conceding first against South Africa ahead of today’s 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers first leg.

The Super Falcons will take on South Africa’s Bayana Bayana at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja, in the first leg encounter today, while the second leg will be played at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in South Africa’s Pretoria.

Though the Super Falcons are miles ahead in terms of their achievements in Women’s football in Africa and beyond, South Africa’s Bayana Bayana are one of the most improved teams on the continent and are presently the Champions of Africa after they lifted the trophy in Morocco in 2022.

Joseph Dosu, a 1996 Atlanta Olympic gold medalist with Nigeria’s under-23 team, says the Super Falcons must capitalise on every goal scoring chance that comes their way.
