Huawei Cloud To Support 100 Nigerian Startups In Two Years

Huawei Cloud says it will support 100 Nigerian startups over the next two years.

This is according to a statement on Thursday at the Startup Summit Nigeria 2024, made by the company’s communications manager, Mr. Oyin Ajayi.

At the summit, which kicked off in Lagos, over 150 industry startups, venture capitals and partners in Nigeria gathered to exchange ideas on startup innovation, ecosystem collaboration, and digital transformation.

The Director of Huawei Cloud, Hugo Hu, called on Nigerian startups to jointly innovate and shape the future of Nigeria’s digital economy.

The Ecosystem Director of Huawei Cloud Nigeria, Mr. Paul Adigun, said through three key initiatives; advanced cloud platform, startup talent development, and business resources, the firm’s startup program will provide startups with leading cloud-native infrastructure, professional services, and up to $150,000 credit vouchers for cloud adoption.
