Super Falcons of Nigeria have qualified for the 2024 Olympics after a 16-year absence from the competition.
The Coach Randy Waldrum-led side secured qualification on Tuesday after seeing out a goalless draw against Bayana Bayana of South Africa to win 1-0 on aggregate.

In the first leg which was held at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, on Friday, the Super Falcons defeated South Africa 1-0, courtesy of Rasheedat Ajibade’s 43rd-minute penalty which made all the difference between the teams.
They will go on to shoot for gold at the Paris 2024 Olympics which will take place from 26 July to 11 August this year.
