The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, has said personnel of the force conducted themselves with exceptional professionalism during the recently concluded Edo State governorship election.
In a statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the IGP said the peaceful conduct of the governorship election is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the security forces.
According to the IGP, the force personnel displayed discipline and neutrality throughout the election period.

He added that their commitment to maintaining law and order, ensuring public safety, and protecting the democratic process is truly commendable.
