The Enugu state governor Peter Mbah has stressed the need for leaders to operate a people focused government for peace and security, noting that no meaningful development or business thrives in an insecure environment. 

Radio Now’s Chibuike Peter reports that Governor Peter Mbah, who made this known on Monday at the EXCO chambers, government house Enugu, shortly after swearing-in the chairmen and their deputies charged the newly sworn-in seventeen local government chairmen to operate from their council areas.

In their separate remarks, the Isi-Uzo local government chairman, Obiora Obeagu, and his counterpart, chairman Udenu local government area Aka Eze Aka while reeling out some of their plans promised to deliver on their mandate.
