Three people who were arraigned by the Nigeria Police for their alleged participation in the #EndBadGovernance protests have regained freedom, following the fulfilment of bail conditions set by the Federal High Court in Abuja.

The trio of Adaramoye Michael “Lenin”, Mosiu Sodiq, and Simon Opaluwa, were arrested in August during the August 1-10 protests, in which some Nigerians demanded an end to bad governance and a reversal of some of the policies of President Tinubu’s administration.

The three men, including seven other protesters, were arrested, charged with treason, and arraigned before Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court, sitting in Abuja.
