The Edo State Government has formally invited Senator Monday Okpebholo to commence the formation of his transition team, a crucial step in the handover process to the incoming administration.
In a letter dated October 10, 2024, Secretary to the State Government, Joseph Eboigbe, emphasized the importance of creating the team to facilitate collaboration with the outgoing administration’s transition team.

It is worth recalling that in July 2024, Governor Godwin Obaseki established a 20-member transition committee, also chaired by Mr Eboigbe, to oversee the orderly transfer of power and knowledge to the incoming administration.
