Some suspects aged between 12 and 15, brought by the Nigerian police for arraignment, fainted before Justice Obiora Egwuatu of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
The 75 youths are facing 10 counts of terrorism, an attempt to overthrow the government, and alleged mutiny linked to their involvement in a nationwide protest.
The suspects were reportedly detained since their arrest on August 3rd. The arraignment proceedings were interrupted when several of them collapsed in the courtroom, prompting Justice Egwuatu to halt the session.
The sudden incident raised concerns about the conditions under which the suspects had been held, contributing to the abrupt end of the court proceedings.
