President Bola Tinubu has appointed Daniel Bwala as his Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications.
His appointment was announced in a statement by presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga who also said the president named three other persons as directors-general of various agencies.
Mr Bwala worked as a spokesman for the Peoples Democratic Party presidential campaign team in the 2023 election, was a vocal critic of the ruling All Progressives Congress during the election period.
President Tinubu also appointed Olawale Olopade as the Director-General of the National Sports Commission; Abisoye Fagade for the role of Director-General at the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism, and Adebowale Adedokun as the Director-General, Bureau of Public Procurement.
