The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has confirmed that airstrikes in Zamfara State have neutralised several bandits, including key allies of notorious leaders Dan-Isuhu and Dogo Sule.
In a statement, NAF spokesperson Air Commodore Olusola Akinboyewa said that the operation, conducted by the Air Component of Operation Hadarin Daji on Friday, November 15, targeted a significant gathering of armed criminals in Babban Kauye village, Tsafe Local Government Area.
Intelligence reports indicated the group was planning coordinated attacks against civilians and military personnel along the Tsafe axis. The area has long been a hotspot for violent banditry, with factions led by Dan-Isuhu and Dogo Sule blamed for deadly assaults on communities and critical infrastructure.
NAF reiterated its commitment to dismantling criminal networks threatening national security.
