Finnish authorities have arrested pro-Biafran activist Simon Ekpa on charges of alleged terrorist activities. The Finnish National Bureau of Investigation is seeking his remand over suspicions of public exhortation to commit an offence with terrorist intent.
Mr. Ekpa, a dual citizen of Finland and Nigeria, is being charged alongside four others for allegedly financing terrorist activities. While the police did not directly name him in their official statement, local media in Finland have identified Ekpa as one of the suspects in the case.
