Femi Adebayo’s epic Yoruba film ‘Jagun Jagun’ has emerged as a big winner at the 2024 Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards, taking home six awards. The ceremony, hosted by actress Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi, was held on Sunday night at the Sugar Factory Film Studios in Ilorin, Kwara State.
‘Jagun Jagun’, a Netflix original released in August 2023, was a standout at the event, securing wins in categories such as “Best Actor,” “Best Costume,” “Best Indigenous Film,” “Best Production Design,” and “Best Special Effect.” The film, which tells the gripping story of a warlord grappling with the threat of losing his authority to a young challenger, had been nominated in 12 categories.
