President Bola Tinubu will leave Nigeria on Wednesday for a three-day state visit to France at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron. The visit aims to strengthen political, economic, and cultural relations between both nations, with a focus on agriculture, security, education, health, youth engagement, and energy transition.
The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, said Tinubu will be received on Thursday at the historic Les Invalides military museum and the Élysée Palace in Paris, where he and Macron will hold bilateral meetings. First Lady Oluremi Tinubu will also join discussions with her French counterpart, Brigitte Macron, on empowering women and children.

The two leaders will participate in key diplomatic sessions on finance, trade, solid minerals, and investments. The France-Nigeria Business Council will also hold a session to enhance private sector collaboration for economic growth.
President Tinubu, accompanied by senior government officials, will attend a state dinner hosted by President Macron before concluding his visit.
