The United Kingdom, France, and Germany have jointly called on Israel to take urgent action to address what they describe as an ‘unacceptable humanitarian situation’ in Gaza.

British Foreign Secretary David Lammy revealed the development in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, highlighting the collective concern of the three nations.

The countries have urged Israel to permit increased humanitarian aid into the enclave and to immediately implement the United Nations’ winter plan. This includes sending equipment to mitigate the impact of cold weather and flooding, ensuring access to fuel, and carrying out repairs on critical infrastructure.

The appeal reflects mounting international pressure for swift measures to alleviate the severe conditions faced by Gaza’s population.
