The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, has announced the development of innovative strategies aimed at tackling terrorism, banditry, and other forms of violent extremism across the country.
Speaking on Wednesday at the closing ceremony of the Chief of Army Staff Annual Conference in Abuja, Lieutenant General Oluyede highlighted the commitment of the Nigerian Army to enhancing its operations.
The Army Chief further assured Nigerians that efforts are underway to modernize the Army’s capabilities through the integration of advanced technology in training and field operations.

Addressing the welfare of personnel, Lieutenant General Oluyede underscored the importance of improved accommodation for soldiers, directing the swift completion of ongoing infrastructure projects to meet this pressing need.
The event brought together senior military officials to deliberate on critical issues concerning the Army’s administration, training, and operational strategies.
