An Abuja court has granted bail to the singer Darlington Okoye, popularly known as Speed Darlington.
The announcement was made by the singer’s lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, on his official X account. Mr Adeyanju confirmed that the bail application, filed following the singer’s arraignment by the police, was approved. However, the specific conditions of the bail have not been disclosed.

Speed Darlington had recently filed a petition with Deputy Inspector General of Police, Dasuki Galadanchi, of the Force Intelligence Bureau in Abuja. In his plea, the artist challenged his continued detention, citing a court order mandating his release.
