The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) reported a significant revenue increase in 2024, generating ₦758 billion between January and November—a 33.9% rise compared to 2023. This marks a ₦257.3 billion jump from last year’s revenue.
Speaking before the National Assembly Joint Committee on Finance, NPA Managing Director, Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho, highlighted the agency’s performance and unveiled a revenue projection of ₦997 billion for 2025.

However, the Joint Committee, co-chaired by Senator Sani Musa and Honourable James Faleke, raised the 2025 projection to ₦1.75 trillion. The decision reflects the committee’s confidence in the Authority’s capacity to harness its 56 revenue streams more effectively.
