Renowned Nollywood actor and academic, Columbus Irosanga, has died.
His passing was confirmed on Thursday by fellow actor Hilda Dokubo, who shared the news on Instagram.
Hailing from Rivers State, Irosanga was not only a respected figure in Nigeria’s film industry but also a senior lecturer in the Department of Theatre Arts at the University of Port Harcourt.

He gained widespread recognition for his compelling portrayals of native doctors in Nollywood films, with one of his most memorable performances being in ‘Issakaba’ which was released in 2003.
Tributes have poured in from colleagues and admirers, reflecting on his contributions to both the screen and academia.
