Sean Kanu, son of former Nigerian international Nwankwo Kanu, has taken his first step into professional football, signing with Polish third-tier side Górnik Polkowice.
The 19-year-old defender’s move was confirmed by KS Dozamet Connector Nowa Sól, who announced that he had joined from another Polish club, Górnik Polkowice. However, details of the contract, including its duration and financial terms, were not disclosed.

Kanu, a product of Watford’s youth academy in England, left the club without making a senior appearance. His mother, Amara Kanu, was present at the signing ceremony and later shared her pride and excitement on social media, praising her son’s commitment and perseverance.
Despite his recent arrival, he was not included in the squad for KS Dozamet Connector Nowa Sól’s fixture against Debem on Sunday.
