Actress and former reality television star Bamike Olawunmi, widely known as Bambam, has spoken about the complications she faced during the birth of her first child.
Bambam and her husband, fellow reality star Teddy A, welcomed their daughter, Zendaya, in 2020, less than a year after their wedding.

Speaking on a podcast, she described her first childbirth experience as traumatic, revealing that she suffered kidney failure while her liver and other vital organs also began to shut down.
She attributed many cases of stillbirths to medical negligence and said the experience left her deeply shaken. Bambam disclosed that she required therapy to come to terms with the ordeal.
