Veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko says not all cases of sex-for-roles in the film industry are initiated by filmmakers.
Speaking in an interview monitored by RadioNow’s news desk, Mr Kosoko revealed that some women enter the industry with the mindset of using sexual favors to gain fame. He acknowledged that while some industry figures exploit young actresses, others willingly offer themselves for roles.

The actor also emphasized that no one is forced into such dealings, as individuals have the choice to accept or reject such advances.
Over the years, several actors, including comedian Mr. Macaroni, have condemned the practice, calling out those who demand sex or money in exchange for opportunities.
