Governor Ademola Adeleke has warned traditional rulers in Ifon, Erin Osun, and Ilobu of firm state action should they fail to maintain peace and prevent further violence in their communities.
The warning follows reports of unidentified groups in the conflict zones allegedly planning fresh attacks.

Governor Adeleke said security forces had heightened surveillance to prevent any escalation, insisting that violence would not be tolerated. He also cautioned that any traditional ruler under whose watch unrest persists risks removal from office.
The Governor urged local leaders to take responsibility and ensure their communities remain peaceful.
