The Confederation of African Football has named Flying Eagles striker Kparobo Arierhi as one of the rising stars to watch at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt. The 18-year-old is expected to lead Nigeria’s attack in the tournament.
Arierhi scored three goals for the Flying Eagles at the WAFU B U-20 Championship in Togo last year, including a brace in the final against Ghana. The Lillestrøm forward also netted twice in recent friendlies against Moraks FC and Egypt.

Nigeria have been drawn in Group B alongside Tunisia, Kenya, and Morocco. The Flying Eagles will open their campaign against Tunisia at the June 30 Stadium in Cairo on Thursday.
Kick-off for the match is scheduled for 4 p.m. Nigerian time.
