Afrobeats artiste Small Doctor has raised concerns over the increasing prevalence of drug abuse among Nigerian youths. The musician, who hails from Agege in Lagos, shared his shock after a recent visit to his old neighbourhood, where he encountered several young men visibly affected by substance use.
Describing the scene, Small Doctor recounted seeing peers he once knew asleep while standing, some in bizarre postures, allegedly due to drug abuse. He expressed his heartbreak on social media and called for intensified advocacy and rehabilitation efforts.

In a message posted on X, he appealed to fellow entertainers and content creators to join in amplifying anti-drug campaigns, warning that the country is facing a growing crisis among its youth.
