The Federal Government has signed a $7.5 million partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to establish a national Artificial Intelligence Scaling Hub aimed at driving innovation across key sectors.
The agreement was formalised in Abuja during a meeting between Communications Minister Mr. Bosun Tijani, and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, who is currently on a multi-country visit to Africa.
The hub will focus on deploying AI in agriculture, healthcare, and education—prioritising practical solutions with measurable social impact.
