The Edo State Command of the NDLEA arrested 37 suspected drug traffickers in June and seized over 345kg of narcotics during routine operations across the state.
Commander Mitchell Ofoyeju, presenting the command’s monthly report in Benin City, said the haul included cannabis, methamphetamine, psychotropic substances, codeine syrup, and a small quantity of cocaine. He said the arrests—25 men and 12 women—are part of a broader crackdown on drug networks.
