The Senate Committee on Public Accounts has threatened to issue a warrant of arrest for Mr. Bayo Ojulari, Group CEO of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, following his fourth failure to appear before lawmakers.
Ojulari was expected to respond to audit discrepancies involving N210 trillion between 2017 and 2023 but cited a last-minute presidential summons for his absence. His CFO, Dapo Segun, represented the company.

Senators, accused Ojulari of treating the legislature with contempt and warned he must appear by 3pm Wednesday or face arrest.
The committee is examining major inconsistencies in NNPCL’s audited accounts—specifically N103 trillion in expenses and N107 trillion in receivables.
