The Federal Ministry of Education has confirmed that updated 2025 WASSCE results will be available on the official result portal within 24 hours, following the resolution of a technical glitch that delayed the release for some candidates.
The disruption, linked to recent exam security upgrades involving paper serialization, was swiftly addressed after a briefing to Education Minister Dr Tunji Alausa.

In a statement, the Ministry commended WAEC for its prompt response and thanked affected students for their patience.
The Ministry also announced a phased rollout of Computer-Based Testing, CBT, for national exams, beginning November 2026 with multiple-choice sections. The move aims to curb malpractice and boost public confidence.
Dr Alausa stressed that maintaining the integrity of national assessments is central to Nigeria’s education reform agenda, describing it as vital for the future of the country’s youth.
