Popular TikTok creator Peller has accused the Lagos State Government of imposing an excessive ₦36 million income tax demand.
Speaking during a livestream with singer Peruzzi, Peller claimed the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service had targeted him after he flaunted his assets and disclosed his earnings online. He insisted he only gained prominence last year and earns solely from social media, not from Nigeria-based activities.

Peruzzi challenged him on his duty to pay taxes, revealing he pays more than the sum demanded from Peller. He urged the influencer to negotiate or seek more time to pay, warning that non-compliance could lead to jail.
Peller maintained the bill was unfair, adding that the government had never contributed to his success or supported his work on TikTok.
